Neil has more than 20 years’ experience advising businesses, ranging from start-ups to national businesses. Neil’s aim is to understand the needs and priorities of each client, and then find practical solutions. This involves advising on the risks of a transaction and managing those risks according to each client’s approach.

Neil spends most of his time on Commercial Property helping clients with premises for their businesses, mainly leases and associated transactions.

He also has experience drafting and advising on the sale and acquisition of businesses, commercial contracts and business structures.

Neil is a former President of Frome & District Chamber of Commerce. He has worked in compliance, co-authored a book for independent film producers and has experience in resolving disputes through mediation and litigation.  This has been put to good use assisting clients to prevent disputes through effective contracts and negotiation. He does not like jargon.
