Outside office hours messages can be left on the answerphone or sent by e-mail or fax. The answerphone will give an out of hours phone number for urgent problems that cannot wait until the office is next open.

How To Find Us

Stony Street is at the southern end of the Market Place between Barclays Bank and the Coventry Building Society. It is one way for cars – downhill only.

The office is towards the top of Stony Street on the right. Please use the top door.

We have interview rooms on the ground floor of the building, and a toilet down two steps.

Stony Street is steep & cobbled, and there is a step into the office so wheelchair access is difficult although a ramp can be provided. If this is a problem please let us know, and we will arrange to see you somewhere more convenient.

By Car

From the M4, Bristol or Bath

Take the A36 South of Bath, signposted Warminster. Follow the A36 to the roundabout at the end of the first section of the dual carriageway at Beckington. Take the second exit signposted A361 Frome. At the next roundabout take the second exit, (straight on). Follow the road into town, over a set of traffic lights, to a right turn signposted “Town Centre”.
At the bottom of the hill go over the bridge, through the Market Place. Follow the road uphill to the left. Opposite St. Johns Church on the left, turn right into Palmer Street. After 50 metres you will come to the top of Stony Street, which is cobbled. As you turn right & downhill Harris & Harris is on the left.
If you need to park turn right at the bottom of the hill before the bridge into the Cattle Market car park, and then walk up through the Market Place.

From Wells, Yeovil and the West

From Shepton Mallet on the A361 follow signs to the Town Centre. At the mini roundabout at the top of Bath Street, by The Cornerhouse pub, go downhill. Palmer Street is on your left about 100 metres down the hill, just after the pedestrian crossing.

Parking

We do not have our own car park. We recommend the car parks at the Cattle Market (unlimited) and Cork Street (2 hours maximum). There is free parking for 20 minutes in Palmer Street but these spaces are usually full.
There are Disabled Parking spaces nearby on Palmer Street, Market Place and Cork Street.

Buses

These stop in the Market Place, a couple of minutes walk away. Please call us if you need times.

Trains

Frome is on the First Great Western line from Bristol, Bath, Bradford on Avon and Westbury to Castle Cary & Weymouth. There are also limited direct services to London and via Westbury to main line services to London and the South West. It is an easy 15 minute walk from the charming Victorian station. Follow the signs for the Town Centre and when you get to St John’s Church follow the pavement on the uphill side, cross Bath Street and you will find us opposite the end of Palmer Street.
