Joshua is a specialist in private client work. He joined Harris & Harris in 2008 and is an experienced Will and Trust draftsman. He conducts probate, trust and estate administration work including cases of intestacy, insolvent estates and those involving a foreign element. He also acts as executor, trustee and attorney.

Joshua is an experienced adviser in matters of tax planning and succession. He regularly advises upon Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax issues.

In the course of his work Joshua is involved in safeguarding the interests of elderly and vulnerable clients. He prepares and registers Powers of Attorney, and deals with matters in the Court of Protection.

Joshua lives locally and in addition to meeting clients at our Wells office, he frequently conducts home visits throughout Somerset. Joshua also lectures on his specialist topics at local speaking events.

Joshua is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having obtained the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England and Wales). He is a member of the Law Society Probate Section and the Devon & Somerset Law Society.

Joshua has been appointed as the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) for Harris & Harris. Joshua is responsible for Data Protection, Quality Management (Lexcel), Business Plan & Strategy, Library and Research and ICT.
